The mission of the CIC Wellness team is to enhance and energize our community through innovative mind-body programs that are both convenient and affordable. As early as 2003, we identified the need to integrate wellness into the entrepreneurial lifestyle and began introducing a variety of offerings, starting with massage therapy. Our ever-expanding curriculum now includes weekly guided meditation and yoga, tai chi, rotating fitness classes, running groups, and monthly seminar series designed to connect local wellness experts with the CIC community. We believe these resources have the power to transform individual movement into community inspiration and strength.

BizSpark is a suite of Microsoft products, services, and credits designed to give startups the tools they need (software, licenses, tech support, cloud services), as well as market visibility in their network at no cost for 3 years. CIC has recently become a network partner, which means that, as a CIC client, you don’t need to apply directly to Microsoft for to receive these benefits, CIC can pre-approve you.
To qualify, Microsoft requires that your company be less than five years old, be privately held, have less than $1 million (U.S.) in revenue, and be developing software. At the end of three years, companies graduate, retaining perpetual licenses to all the software used while in the program and significant discounts on support and new software. While pre-approval is a benefit for CIC clients only, your Bizspark membership is not contingent on you remaining a CIC client. Once you have been approved, the benefits are yours as long as Bizspark allows.
To learn more about the program, please visit the BizSpark website (http://www.microsoft.com/bizspark/about/default.aspx). If you are interested, please fill out this form (http://goo.gl/forms/Z5nzXjdIcv) and someone on CIC staff will reach out to you with a pre-approved registration link. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to email@example.com.

We believe it’s important to offer opportunities for young people to participate in entrepreneurship and the local innovation ecosystem. For this reason, the Cambridge Youth Outreach Group facilitates three rounds of high school internships annually – two series of winter internships from Cambridge Rindge and Latin School and the Community Charter School of Cambridge, and a round of summer interns through the City of Cambridge.
To make it easier for companies to hire interns, CIC waives per-person fees for high school interns that come through our program.
If you are interested in hosting a high school intern or would like more information, please reach out to us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Cambridge Youth Outreach Group
Are you interested in getting involved with supporting professional development for local young people? CIC’s Cambridge Youth Outreach Group offers opportunities to mentor, volunteer, and support for community youth groups and afterschool programs. We know that entrepreneurs are busy, so we offer many levels of commitment – as simple as a one-hour Minute Mentor session or as involved as sponsoring a local youth through Big Brothers, Big Sisters.
Examples of our volunteer opportunities include serving on a career panel for high school students, facilitating an elementary school field trip, and professional coaching for student entrepreneurs.
